Veins of Phthisis is a grim, atmospheric action-adventure game following Caelid, an avian swordsman desperate to find his missing friend, Logan. After Logan disappears while investigating a nearby cave he believed was the source of a devastating plague afflicting their village, Caelid ventures inside — only to fall into a deep pit that leads to a vast, hidden underground world. Beneath the surface, Caelid discovers a secret civilization teetering on the brink, threatened by a monstrous, rapidly spreading parasitic fungus that resembles rotting flesh. As Caelid searches for Logan, he must navigate this decaying underworld, face unspeakable horrors, and confront the festering heart of a sickness that threatens to consume everything above and below.
